Unleash the power of your customer communications
Roler was founded in 1991 to assist companies who spend too much time and money printing, inserting and mailing cash flow documents such as statements, invoices and bills. As one of the most experienced Print and Mail Service Bureaus, Roler has expanded its services into the content management and document management space as a logical extension to its initial core business.
This important addition was designed to assist our clients with the management of information (documents, images, data, records) to improve workflow and to ensure records compliance to meet legislative requirements.
Today Roler boasts clients in the financial services, transportation, professional services, utilities and other large and medium size enterprises.
Roler processes literally millions of documents monthly through offices in Toronto, Ontario and Buffalo, New York.
Our stability and experience in the industry puts us in a unique position to provide highly sophisticated processes and technology to our customer base that reflects our commitment to perfection of delivery. We continue to invest in technology and new services to surpass the expectations of our discerning clients.
"Partners In Your Community" Charitable Foundation
In 2007, Roler introduced the “Partners in Your Community” Charitable Foundation.
Through an agreement with the Ontario Credit Union Charitable Foundation (OCUCF), when Ontario credit unions are granted matching funding from the OCUCF, Roler will, with the credit union’s approval, provide additional funding payable to the charity.
This is clearly a win–win–win for all involved and our hope is that this kind of partnership with the OCUCF will be a good example for other suppliers to get involved and make a difference. We believe that the Canadian credit union movement continues to thrive because they support the communities they serve; through their services, charitable initiatives and donations, as well as other community-based activities.
At Roler, our community is the Canadian credit union movement and we cannot think of a better way to give back to our community and make a difference at the same time.
Roler’s support is not only limited to Ontario.
Credit unions in other jurisdictions are welcome to request funding for causes they support. Contact Dean Capotosto,
VP Sales & Marketing, for more information.
Shades of Green
Some people may ask why a traditional print and mail company would want to help their customers reduce the amount of printed documents. After all, by reducing paper, doesn’t that impact the bottom line?
Well, the truth is, we do it because we feel it’s in everyone’s best interest. We’ve not only incorporated solutions to reduce the paper in-house at Roler, but we also work with our customers to help them reduce their own carbon footprint. We’ve learned that many of our clients are environmentally conscious and they look to us to not only set the example but to help them along the way.
Working with data available through the Environmental Defense Fund,
we developed a paper savings calculator to show our customers how reducing the number of printed sheets of paper to electronically stored files had an impact on the environment. We found that showing someone they can save one tree by eliminating the need for 670 sheets of paper per month has a big impact. The calculator also illustrates additional environmental impacts including reduction on greenhouse gases, nitrogen oxide and waste water. For a copy of our paper calculator, send us an email
.
What are we doing at Roler? We’ve taken a look at our internal operations to see where we could make a difference. Following the 3R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle): we ask the recipients of our email to consider whether they need to print out the message; staff are encouraged to print and photocopy documents using both sides of the page; and we`ve enganged a supplier of FSC
certified paper so we can offer our clients the choice of producing documents using a recycled product.
We know these are small steps but at Roler, the move to green is well under way.
